About me​

Originally from South Africa, I have been living in the UK for more than 14 years. 


I have been practising as a counsellor since 2012. Before working as a counsellor, I worked in Information Technology (IT) and have an understanding of the pressures of working in a corporate environment and the related issues resulting in stress, performance anxiety and in personal life.


I trained at the Metanoia Institute, Ealing, London and my psychotherapeutic counselling training lasted five years. I hold a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling. A Post Graduate Diploma in Transactional Analysis, Middlesex University, London. I completed a four year taught course in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy at MSc level.

Professional Membership and Ethical Codes

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) registration number 376997 and abide by their ethical framework.

I am also a member of the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA), the International Association of Relational Transactional Analysis (IARTA) and the Metanoia Institute


I have previously worked with clients at the Metanoia Counselling Psychotherapy Service (MCPS) and Wimbledon Guild Counselling Service (WGCS).

I have experience working on an NHS Psychiatric Hospital acute ward as part of a multidisciplinary team providing complex care.

I work in collaboration with Duty to Care providing psychotherapeutic support for NHS healthcare professionals.

I work with Strategic Wellbeing providing counselling services to corporate organisations.

Professional Practice

I attend regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops to keep my skills and knowledge up-to-date.

I meet regularly with a clinical supervisor.

I hold professional indemnity insurance.
